Attorney Carolyn House Stewart’s installation as International President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority has generated coverage from daily and weekly newspapers, television, cable outlets, the blogosphere, online publications and legal journals.  Coverage came from outlets from as far away as Germany and Korea to her hometown newspapers in Tampa.

A special interview was conducted with Houston Style Magazine's managing editor, Jo-Carolyn Goode, who is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. The colorful article captures the excitement and pageantry of the installation and the essence of the newly-installed president's mission. President Stewart shares insight about how the new position will impact her life.  She also provides more enlightenment into the global dimensions of her administration and some of the particular initiatives that will be launched during her term.  Attorney Stewart will serve from 2010-2014 and her program is driven by the theme: "Global Leadership Through Timeless Service."
